EL CAU
This is a cove
protected from the wind. At its initial part and in shallow water we
will find posidonians, “vaquetes” and “tords”. At the external
part you will find a fault which falls down 20 metres in depth and
hides a lot of fissures where you will be able to find some
lobsters, “castanyoles”. When you are there it is important you take
references so that you are able to return safely to the cove. |

EL TABAL
It is formed
by two big slabs and located in front of the headland occupied by
“el Far de Sant Sebastià” (Saint Sebastian Lighthouse). The slabs
highest surface is 20 metres. During this dive you will
find gorgonians and a large diversity of fauna, for example,
groupers, lobsters, barracudas and with a little luck, some
moonfish. Here it is important to be careful with decompression
because you will be diving at depths of 22 metres. |

FURIÓ D´AIGUA XELIDA
The “Furió
d'Aigua Xelida” is an underwater mountain which forms a small island
at the surface. It is a very interesting dive where you will find
some groupers, moraines and congers. It is important to say that
there is an underwater promontory with many gorgònians
and barracudas in the summer. |

FURIÓ DE FITÓ
It is an
underwater headland whose base lies at approximately 55 metres. It
is situated before the headland of “Es Plom” and after the headland
of “El Cap de Begur”. This underwater mountain is renowned for it

ULLASTRE I
The first
Ullastre is the first of the three underwater mountains in front of
Llafranc. This mountain has its base at 30 metres. When you are
diving you will find a considerable amount of yellow and red
gorgonians covering Ullastre I's walls, not to mention small pockets
of red coral. |

| |
 |
ULLASTRE II
This second
Ullastre is the second of the three underwater mountains in front of
Llafranc. This mountain stands out for it gorgònian clad walls and
fauna. When you dive down by the marker bouy's anchor chain, you
will find a crack which falls down to the bottom; if you pay
attention you will more than likely see some lobsters. If the
weather is hot it is also likely to see moonfish.

ULLASTRE III
It is called
outside Ullastre II. It is the third and the most spectacular of
these three mountains. Its easterly side stands out with a carpet
of gorgònians,
which continue down to 55 metres. In this area you can find some
more than respectable sized lobsters and some considerable congers.
Furthermore, in the fissures you will find red coral. |
